From the Lift
Art Telepathy

A photographer sent me a mural from another continent and asked if it was mine. It was not — but it could have been. Same blues, same tilt of the head, same idea arriving to two strangers in the same week.
We call it art telepathy, only half joking. Certain images seem to be in the air, and if you are painting at the time, you catch them.
I never met the other artist. Our walls, on opposite sides of the world, have been in conversation ever since.
